With reference to my Despatch No. 91

of the 13th. instant, I have the honour to transmit to

you the enclosed copy of a letter from the Inspector of

Schools, recommending the appointment of Miss Bateman,

daughter of Mrs. Bateman, the Headmistress of the

Belilios Public School, for the post of Second Assistant

Teacher in that School, and to request your sanction

of the appointment.
